SNAP Funds Accepted
New wireless connectivity will allow the Market to accommodate participants in the federal SNAP program. SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program now in place through the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help limited income people and families buy food for a healthier diet. SNAP clients may buy $1 tokens at the Market using their SNAP card. The tokens may then be used to purchase food items (or plants than can be planted for food) from participating producers. SNAP replaced the Electronic Benefit Program (EBT).
